Mindful Eating: Bringing Peace and Presence to Your Relationship with Food

Mindful eating is all the buzz, and for good reason!
Eating mindfully has completely changed my relationship with food. Before then, I was always eating and multitasking. I’d eat lunch while checking my email. I would eat my breakfast in the bathroom while getting dressed and ready for my day. (I know, right?!) I rarely took the time to just enjoy what I was eating because eating was just another thing to check off my to-do list.
Now, I tune in. Like I’m adjusting away the static on a radio dial. My mindful eating practice starts before I even put a bite of food into my mouth. And it continues after I’ve finished eating. The result? I’m much more intentional around what I eat and I (most often) eat foods I really enjoy eating.
I’m noticing that many practitioners offer mindful eating in a way that feels to me like another diet. It’s a subtle distinction. They imply that if you’re mindful that you’ll be eating healthier foods and you’ll naturally eat less.
To me, that’s not a good enough reason for you to practice mindful eating!
I’d love for you to enjoy the hell out of your snack or meal, without limits or restrictions. We don’t need to deprive ourselves from the pleasure of food!
Mindful eating doesn’t need to be learned on a meditation retreat in Bali or by contemplating a raisin. There are many check-in moments that can freely engage your mind and body in the experience of eating.
This webinar is for anyone that would like to enjoy food more and is curious how to be mindful while eating. This will be a fully interactive experience. You will be bringing food and eating during our time together.
After the webinar, you’ll walk away with a concrete approach to mindful eating that you can apply in your own life right away.
